Hoax calls to emergency services

Good afternoon residents,

We have noticed an increasing amount of Hoax calls to emergency services over the last couple of weeks. These are predominantly coming from the Telephone Kiosks on Albion street and Scott Park Road. If you have children, please can you remind them, that calling emergency services unnecessarily means that other members of public are put at risk. Whilst officers are attending these areas to follow up on these hoax calls they are unable to attend genuine emergencies.
