Police investigating a road traffic collision on the A3075, at Penhallow, Cornwall, are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
Officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorbike at around 11.05am, on Wednesday 22 June.
One person, the male motorcyclist, was taken to Derriford Hospital with serious injuries. His next of kin have been informed.
The road was closed while officers from the Roads Policing Team conducted an examination of the scene.
The police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information or dashcam footage which may have captured either vehicle prior to the collision that could help the police with their enquiries.
