  • ST MARGARETS PARK REPORT

    Alert message sent 23/06/2022 09:26:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Coventry Police are investigating reports of a man approaching girls and making sexual comments in a Wyken park. This is following  a social media post that was circulated that local police have become aware of.

The post claims the man has been making comments to girls of a sexual nature while they walk through St Margaret's Park, off Walsgrave Road.

Police Inspector Sherrie Kimberley, said: “We’re aware of a social media post containing an image of a man and suggestions he’s been approaching girls in St Margaret’s Park, off Walsgrave Road, and making comments to them of a sexual nature. These concerns have not been reported to us; we’re making efforts to contact the poster in a bid to understand what’s happened and take a statement.

“If anyone has noticed any suspicious behaviour in the park then please get in touch. They can message us on Live Chat through our website or call us on 101.”
