Get Lifewise Event for over 60s

We would like to take this opportunity to invite South Yorkshire residents aged 60+ to an event we are hosting called GET LIFEWISE.

The event will be held at Lifewise Centre Hellaby Rotherham S66 8LB our purpose built fully interactive set https://www.lifewise999.co.uk/, which is just off Junction 1 of the M18 and easily accessible by the X1 bus service.
Event dates
19 July – Sheffield Residents
20 July – Barnsley Residents
21 July - Doncaster Residents
22 July - Rotherham Residents – FULL – Please ask to be placed on our waiting list. Alternative dates may become available.

The day will include important inputs from, South Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Fire Service, Herbert Protocol and much more. The subjects will be around Cyber Crime, Fraud and Herbert Protocol from South Yorkshire Police. On the Rotherham date Age UK will providing an input to attendees around wellbeing. South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue will provide a 30 min input on each day all around Fire Safety to attendees, and Safer Roads Partnership will provide an input each day around issues faced by older drivers.

The day will start at 1000 (arrive 0930) and end at 1500. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided to all guests attending. Car parking is available but this is limited, so please arrive in plenty of time to obtain a space.

There is no cost to attend this event, but booking is essential as places are limited. Residents are asked to book on the date relevant to the area they reside in. All events will take place at Lifewise Centre.
The centre is fully accessible and all on one level, unfortunately we will not be providing transport for these events.
