This week our officers have been extremely busy running multiple activities as part of Op Sceptre, a week of action against knives.

*On 20/05/2022, Officers PC 25470 STOKES and PC 24405 FRENCH have attended Willenhall E-Act Secondary school and set up a stand for Years 9, 10 and 11 promoting knife awareness. Officers engaged with students and discussed the risks of carrying knives and what to do if they know anyone that has a knife. The stand was well received by students who engaged well with officers. Officers have also liaised with Safeguarding Lead to discuss incidents including students that have been known to carry weapons. Pictures of the stand were uploaded to Willenhall NHT Twitter page.

*On 22/05/22, Willenhall NHT have attended ROUGH WOOD NATURE RESERVE and have conducted a knife sweep of the area utilising a metal detector. We are happy to report no knives were found following our sweep.
