  • Appeal for witnesses following a public order offence in West Berkshire

    Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a public order offence in West Berkshire.  

    The incident occurred yesterday (22/5) on the junction of Winston Way, Thatcham.

    The victim, a girl in her teens, has been running and an unknown man has been seen to be filming her. The man was approached by a member of the public and asked to stop filming. The victim became distressed.

    The offender is described as a white man, in his forties, balding and medium to large build.

    Investigating officer PC Christopher Burr, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who may have information about this incident to please get in touch.

    “You can contact us either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference numbers 43220222816.

    “Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
