  • OPSceptre tackling knife crime

    Alert message sent 16/05/2022 11:11:00

Information sent on behalf of Wiltshire Police

‘What is #OpSceptre? Operation Sceptre is a week-long targeted approach across all 44 forces in England and Wales that is aimed at tackling knife crime and raising awareness of its impact. Police cannot tackle violence alone and this week highlights our work within schools and colleges, working alongside charities, the health service and communities to help raise awareness on the law surrounding weapons and to keep people safe. #NoKnifeSaferLife’
Operation Sceptre will be launched today by your local Officers from Devizes, Marlborough and Pewsey. The team will be taking part in school visits and community engagements – keep your eyes peeled for more posts this week showing the great work they are involved in!
