Theft of liquid fertiliser

Thames Valley Police have been made aware of a large theft of liquid fertiliser from a farm in a neighbouring policing area.

The padlock on the tank appeared to be closed and intact, but on inspection it had been cut and 15 to 16 tonnes of liquid fertiliser had been taken. We would encourage anyone with fertiliser tanks to check they are secure and have not been tampered with.
