    Alert message sent 13/05/2022 10:21:00

Information sent on behalf of Lancashire Constabulary

Today Local NHP (PCSO 7418, PCSO 7618, PC 2850) were on Warbreck Hill Road, alongside Traffic Management Officer Proctor and Greenlands Ward Councillor Rick Scott.

We conducted the visit today following complaints from the local community and school in terms of hazardous traffic conditions, congestion, reckless driving, motorists speeding in the area and irresponsible parking from parents dropping their children off at school.

We are going to be actioning a plan with Blackpool Council to improve on the issues the local community and school are having at school drop off times. There will be an increase in Police presence at school drop off times, changes made to the road, and presence from Traffic Wardens.

If you are a parent dropping a child off at school please can you make sure you are parking up responsibly and maintaining a safe environment for all other children who are walking to school.

    Thank you

    PCSO 7418 Baxter
