As we begin to spend more time outdoors and in our gardens, can we please ensure appropriate security measures are followed? Please ensure that when leaving your property unattended, all doors and windows are secure, and any items that you have outside in gardens/yards that are of value, are stored away safely.

If your property has a alarm system check that it is activated before leaving your home.

If you have a trusted neighbour ask them to keep an eye on your property and if you have an empty driveway maybe ask one of your neighbour's if they have a second car to park it on your driveway to give the impression someone is at home.
