  • Aggression towards cyclist

    Alert message sent 21/04/2022 11:41:00

Information sent on behalf of Gloucestershire Constabulary

On the evening of 15.04.22 around 10pm a cyclist was travelling in the Halmore area near Berkeley when a van approached very close to the rear of the bike. When the White Transit type van overtook, a passenger in the van wound the window down and pushed our cyclist to his head causing our victim to fall from his bike and sustain grazes. Our victim was very shaken up and couldn't get an index plate. As this is a shocking act of aggression to a cyclist, we would be very keen to receive any information reporting anything similar. To assist with on-going enquiries where the van driver & passenger could be fined as well as receive a number of points, please contact PCSO Mike Trebble on 101 quoting incident 0112 16.04.22.
