Good Afternoon

Due to a few technical difficulties its been a number of weeks since I have been able to send out any Crime updates, My Access has now been restored and so I hope to keep you more informed about what's happening in your local area over the coming weeks.

Having reviewed incidents over the last week vehicle crime appears to be impacting our local community most with theft from motor vehicles being reported in the areas of Clawson Close, Gallico Close and Darwin Crescent.

Please do double check that you are leaving your vehicles locked and secured and that valuables are removed and not left on display.

In addition to the theft from motor vehicles we have also had two separate incidents in Hall Croft and Leicester Road Shepshed whereby motorcycles have been stolen.

One of those motorcycles has since been recovered as the owner had fitted a tracking device enabling him to track where his vehicle had been abandoned.

Fitting a tracking device to your motorcycle if you have one is always worth consideration.

Should you see any suspicious behaviour please do report it, We may not always have anyone available to attend at the time, but your local beat team do keep an eye on the incidents which are being reported as and when we are on shift and your call may provide information that we can follow up on at a later date.
