Officers investigating criminal damage to a vehicle in Bournemouth are issuing an image of a woman they would like to identify.

Dorset Police received a report at around 6.30pm on Sunday 20 March 2022 of an incident on Undercliff Drive in Boscombe.

It was reported that the victim was driving her car along the road when she came across a woman walking her dog in the middle of the road. She sounded her horn, the woman moved aside the and the victim continued up the road toward a turning place, before coming back in the opposite direction.

As she came back past the woman with the dog, a stone or brick was thrown at the windscreen of the car, causing it to smash. The woman walked off from the scene.

The victim suffered an injury to her eye that is not believed to be serious.
