Information sent on behalf of Cambridgeshire Constabulary

    Dear Subscriber,

We’re excited to launch a new engagement model in East Cambridgeshire which we believe will allow greater opportunity for two-way communications between you as residents and police.

Your neighbourhood policing team is made up of myself, Inspector Shane Fasey, Sergeant Mat Lupton-Pike and a team of police constables and PCSO who are all working hard to ensure we’re responding to the most important issues.

Our very genuine desire is to focus the team on the things that are of the highest risk and concern for you, our residents. We are also really keen to tell you more about those things you might not realise or see us doing.

We want to reach out to as many residents of East Cambridgeshire as possible. We’re aiming to provide you better access to your neighbourhood police officers, to understand what is happening in your areas from a crime perspective and allow you to help shape the police activity.

We’re inviting you to take just five to ten minutes to fill out our online survey so we can understand what crime is happening in your area.

The survey will close on 3 April and we’ll analyse the responses. You are invited to attend an online meeting on 5 April where we will have a presentation on recent policing activity from the team, we’ll listen to concerns, present the results of the survey and allow you to have an influence.

After the meeting, your neighbourhood policing team will work on the matters we agree and update you with the progress over the coming weeks and months.

We hope you will get on board with this pilot so we can work together to create a safer Cambridgeshire.

We look forward to hearing from you during the process.

    Inspector Shane Fasey
    East Cambridgeshire
