Officers investigating an assault in Bournemouth are issuing CCTV images of a man they would like to identify.
Images can be seen via the Dorset police website here.
On the evening of Saturday 11 December 2021 the victim, a man aged in his 20s, was at an event in the Main Hall of the Bournemouth International Centre and had exchanged words with a man sat nearby, who was causing a disturbance during the performance. As the victim went to leave at around 9.45pm, the man approached him from behind and grabbed him around the neck.
Security staff intervened and the man left the premises. The victim did not sustain any injuries that required hospital treatment.
Police Community Support Investigator Mike Cannings, of Dorset Police, said: “We are continuing to investigate this matter and have obtained CCTV images of a man we are keen to identify as part of our enquiries.
“Our efforts to identify him have so far been unsuccessful and I am now appealing to the public and urging anyone with information as to his identity to please get in touch.”
