    Information sent on behalf of Staffordshire Police



    On Tuesday 7th December 2021, between 09.45 hrs and 16.45 hrs, unknown offenders have gained access to a residential property in Broad Lane, Essington by smashing a rear window. Whilst inside, offenders have stolen a quantity of cash and jewellery. Incident number 0358 of 07/12/21 refers.
    Also on the same date, at approximately 13.30 hrs, offenders have gained access to another property on Brownshore Lane, Essington by causing damage to the front door. Whilst inside, an untidy search has been conducted and items including a laptop, cash, jewellery and Christmas presents have been stolen from the address. Incident number 0501 of 07/12/21 refers.
    As you may be aware, this time of year attracts a lot of opportunistic thieves, please be vigilant and ensure properties are locked and secure at all times. Please consider installing CCTV or a door bell camera at you property.
