    Alert message sent 26/11/2021 13:58:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

    Good afternoon Citizen,

We have had 2 reports of burglaries on 24/11/21, one in Hillfield and one in Monkspath. On both occasions, the offender(s) have targetted jewellery. Both incidents have taken place during the day, in daylgith They have conducted untidy searches in each property and left other items such as cash, car keys, etc and have only taken jewellery. Evidence at each property suggests that these incidents be linked to the same offender(s) but their identity remains unknown.

Please consider fitting anti-snap locks to increase your properties security. Composite doors tend to be stronger than UPVC so if you are planning on getting a new one, please consider a composite as opposed to UPVC. If you have a porch on your property remember to lock it when you are out as an open porch can encourage opportunists.

If you have any information or CCTV relating to this report please send to stalphege@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk

Any suspicious behaviour should be reported by calling 101 or through the Webchat facility.
If a crime is in progress then call 999.
