Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

Officers from the St Michaels Neighbourhood team have been out in the community carrying out speedcamera operations over recent days.

We are pleased to say that the vast majority of drivers are abiding to the prescribed speed limit, however there is a minority that were travelling in excess of the speed limit. These motorists will be contacted and advised about this lapse in their driving standards.

If you are concerned about speeding, you might want to get involved in the Community Speed Watch initiative.

This is a speed monitoring and awareness scheme that is co-ordinated by the Police and run by a group of local volunteers who use speed detection devices to monitor traffic and identify speeding drivers on a specific road or small area.

For further information about Community Speed Watch, please contact the Police by emailing: href="mailto:stmichaels@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk" target="_blank">stmichaels@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk
