Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

    Hello all,

I am pleased to announce that we have arranged a free talk  on Cyber Security with Thames Valley Police at Oxford Town Hall on Thursday, November 18th. Wheelchair access.

The session lasts for one hour, and there will be 30 minutes at the end for questions.

It is based on advice from the UK National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) on securing laptops, smartphones and other devices.
This includes creating strong passwords with Multi-Factor Authentication, shopping securely online and reporting suspicious emails.

The presenter will be Mark Godsland who is a Cyber Protect Officer with Thames Valley Police.
He regularly runs information sessions on Cyber Security across Berks, Bucks and Oxon, and has a wealth of knowledge on the subject.

Attendance will be limited to registered participants but this event is open to all, including non-members so please share to your friends, family, neighbours and groups.

Registration on eventbrite makes it easier to gauge numbers and they will give you a ticket and a reminder and all free! Very easy to register on  https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/200353020277

If you want to  attend and unable to register online I can add you to a registration list but we have limited places so please let me know as numbers need to be known for seating. Please reply to the icon below on this Alert.
