    Alert message sent 23/02/2021 22:07:00

Information sent on behalf of West Mids Police

    Good Evening Citizen ,

We have had a report of a shed burglary on Marsh Lane at around 20:18 hours on the 19th of February.  Two offenders have approached a secure shed in a rear garden and used an implement to force the padlock. Two high value garden tools have been stolen. The stolen items have been subsequently been found in an nearby address due to the local neighbourhood watch coordinator spreading the information on the local Whatsapp Group.

Officers have been in the area speaking to local residents and checking for any CCTV footage however, if you have any information relating to this incident please either use West Midlands Live chat or call 101 and quote crime reference number 20SH/51267K/21.

Please consider using a shed alarm of motion activated lights to help secure rear sheds and outbuildings.

For further information on how to secure your property you can visit West Midlands Police website on https://west-midlands.police.uk/your-options/residential-burglary/#prevention

    Many Thanks

    Nicky
