    Let's look at the different types of vehicle crime and how we can protect your vehicle.

    Theft of your motor vehicle
    Is your vehicle fitted with a silent alarm, whereby only the lights flash and no sound? Consider fitting a Thatcham-rated 1 or 2 alarm system with or without tracking, immobilisation, anti-grab and movement sensors can help protect and trace the vehicle. a quality Thatcham approved, professionally fitted alarm will not only put off thieves, but could also reduce your insurance premiums. At home, if you have garage, use it. Consider installing security lights or CCTV to improve deterrent. To protect your Passive Vehicle Entry Vehicle against a relay attack then go to www.securedbydesign.com search for products using key word search 'shielding for car keys'. To explore what aftermarket security products are available from third parties. Thatcham is a source of tested products. Consider using a Thatcham approved and tested steering wheel lock that provides full coverage of the wheel. This can cost less then the excess on you insurance, in the event of a claim.
