    Information sent on behalf of Neighbourhood Watch

    Dear Citizen

    You are warmly invited to join a free Virtual Community Safety Day taking place on Zoom on Tuesday 2nd of February. This event will last from midday till 2.30pm. Please join us to hear from Norwich residents running local initiatives, who will share their thoughts and ideas on community safety. This event is also a great opportunity to learn more about support available from your local charities. During the event we will also publicise findings from our recent Community Safety Listening Campaign, and introduce you to the Community Champions initiative.

    The Virtual Community Safety Day consists of three elements:
    1. a panel conversation titled How can resident-led initiatives improve community safety in our neighbourhoods?;
    2. short Community Safety Listening Campaign results presentation;
    3. three advice & information presentations from Norfolk & Suffolk Victim Care, local Crimestoppers and Neighbourhood Watch Network.
    We would especially recommend joining this event to watch a very informative presentation from Neighbourhood Watch Network titled What can we do about Antisocial Behaviour?, and to hear from other Norwich residents who are running community initiatives in their neighbourhoods.

    How to claim your FREE ticket?
    If you would like to attend, please register online by using the following link: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/virtual-community-safety-day-in-norwich-tickets-135998317629 .

    You can also register by sending an email to aga.korfel@ourwatch.org.uk, please include your name, email address, contact number and postcode.

    Registration closes at midnight on 01/02/21.

    After registering you will be sent a joining link and will be able to log in and hear live from local practitioners and residents. You will also be able to submit your questions about community safety and share your own ideas.

    What is Zoom?
    Zoom is a web-based video conferencing tool that you can use to meet and talk to individuals and groups of people online. Only those who register for the event will be allowed to attend. All attendees will be sent a log-in and password to ensure everyone’s privacy and safety. Once you register, we can send you a simple step by step guide explaining how to use Zoom.

    We hope you can join us on the day. If you have any questions about the event, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    Best Regards,

    Aga
