What does that mean?

The website searches through databases containing information about leaked accounts and accounts that have been compromised by breaches (when data has been exposed to the public).

If your email has been pwned, the website will show you which breach(es) you were involved in, as well as the type of data that was compromised.

If your email has been compromised, don’t panic! It just means that it’s even more important to put in place a strong and unique password to protect your accounts.

You can also sign up to be informed of future data breaches that involve your email.
