Farnham Area NHW Coordinators Meeting Notification
Venue :- Forty Degreez Dogflud Way Farnham GU9 7UT
Meeting Date :- 9 October 2017 Commencing at 19.30 hrs
Please see details of the special NHW Coordinators meeting which has been arranged as a direct result of the last successful Coordinators meeting held in Farnham on 20 June.
It was agreed by the Coordinators that attended the meeting, that I should if possible arrange for a senior Police representative to be in attendance to fully explain the current strategy of how Policing will be managed in the future in Farnham and the surrounding area. All the attendees thought this would be extremely useful as they had all noticed how the changes had impacted on NHW communication and Police interaction with NHW over the recent past.

I am delighted to inform you all that following my request to Inspector Mark Bridge at a recent meeting at his office in Godalming he has agreed to attend and address the Coordinators meeting and “discuss with you all” the major points\issues of the new strategy and how this has changed the way the Police will now have to operate in the Farnham area and throughout Waverley & the whole of Surrey.
I am sure that when you have had the opportunity to hear Mark Bridge explain things clearly, and also hear how much the Police value the input and support of the NHW throughout Surrey you will see as I do, the value we all bring to our local community which more than ever, is really important in this far more complex world we live in today
I am really hoping that all the Coordinators that attended the June meeting in Farnham will be available to attend this important meeting this time and to hear things “straight from the Horse’s mouth” and also answer any question you may have regarding matters now. I hope to see you all again!
Also, if you are one of the Coordinators that was unable to attend the last meeting in June PLEASE COME TO THIS ONE as will I’m sure this will benefit your Watch members. Opportunities for Senior Police Officers to attend meetings like this in the future will be limited.
I am also pleased to say that we will also have Tony Kremer the Chairman of Surrey NHW in attendance and I’m sure Tony will be delighted to meet you all and say a few words regarding what is being planned in the future in NHW in Waverley. He can discuss methods and strategies that other NHW regions in Surrey or Sussex currently use, to benefit the communities and make sure that NHW successfully flourishes in all areas of the county. And hopefully answer any other concerns you have.

Last but certainly not least, a really “BIG thankyou” to Mike Ellis for arranging for us have the venue for free. Much appreciated.
